I'm going to just go on a rant because while watching the Vitality DRX match I couldn't get these thoughts out of my mind, Mimi should step back from casting entirely and primarily do the desk or co-stream. This is nothing against her personally but I cannot get invested into these matches in the slightest when she's loudly whispering into the mic with a lisp while casting.

This is NOT about her gender, I rate pansy as the best caster in the world, I rate yinsu as the best interviewer in the world and kaquka is in that conversation too.

There are much more deserving casting duos that should be at global events than Mimi & Ender, for example if they want an americas rep- Why would you not use Uber & Wyatt, this entire kickoff they carried the hype and engagement in games that shouldn't even be viewed by most people, they made the 2G vs Furia (sub roster) game one of the most engaging games of the entire kickoff and those teams are terrible !

I've had feelings about casters before but grew to like them after a while, like Mitch and Tom for example but I know my opinion on this will never change. It doesn't have to and nobody has to listen to my opinion if they have a differing one.

For me, I'm going to Masters Toronto and I truly might walk out of the venue if they're casting a game in the Top 4.
Ender isn't even that bad he's just foolish and still getting acquainted with casting duos.

bren and pansy are worlds apart from mimi thats true. the weirdest thing thjo was the thai host. that guy is cooked in the head or smth

Yeah but Mimi is very knowledgeable about the game though. Maybe casting isn't for her but she still deserves some position on the broadcast team.

Just dont allow Pansy to cast when a EMEA team is playing

• her and ender are just extremely biased towards certain teams and players. and even then they don't even know what they're talking about 80% of the time but everyone watching just plays valorant casually so they don't realize it either

She has her moments but yeah I think at times she can be a tad underwhelming. I do like her as an analyst and desk talent.
I do want to point out that in general it seems like Riot are making production cuts (Behind the scenes too, such as the EMEA observer from last year for example) so perhaps this is a result of that

I think she should switch her Casting style and become more of an analyst than a play by play caster, coz she just doesn't have that hype of like bren, Achilios, mitch, and pansy

I felt that with Bren too this event weirdly, he seems little bit out of the zone. He is running out of words in the most hype moments I feel like maybe its the first few days after the long flight affecting him idk. Pansy and Achilios are still doing an amazing play by play cast. I hope the casting quality goes back to normal for playoff matches with other casters too.

yeah, mimi is more suited on the desk or for unimportant regional matches, certainly not for high stakes international matches.

Has Hypoc left the scene entirely? I haven't seen him casting for quite a while

She's even worse when she watch parties with Sideshow/TMV. So Ill take her on the cast any day.

I agree, I don't understand how there is suppose to be any hype about big plays or moments when she is whisper yelling into that mic like her parents just got mad at her for being too loud

Yeah imagine how much more hype VIT vs DRX would've been if it was Achilios and PaperThin casting

Unrelated but it's still crazy to me that they haven't had the opportunity to cast a finals yet despite having the literal perfect opportunity to in Shanghai. Some of my favourite caster moments in VCT have come from Achilios being probably the best hype caster in the scene

Riot is all for gender inclusivity and equality.
Their agendas are so deep they even prefer female persons over male even if the male person has better qualifications
