As we continue to retool our VALORANT roster, we are announcing the transfer of @JoshNissan from 100 Thieves, effective immediately.

Steel's leadership throughout this year was extremely appreciated, and we look forward to watching him compete in his next chapter.

As the 100 Thieves in-game leader after their late-2020 rebuild, steel's leadership brought the team into North America's upper echelon of teams via a podium finish in the JBL Quantum Cup and first place finish in First Strike: North America. Going into 2021, they were one of the favorites to compete at the very top.

In 2021, 100 Thieves had varied results, despite what their multiple podium finishes throughout the 2021 VCT circuit might suggest. They only attended one international event—Masters: Berlin—and achieved a top-four finish there. 100 Thieves missed out on qualifying for Masters: Reykjavik despite finishing in first place in Stage 2 Challengers 1 and only dropping two maps the entire tournament.

steel was made a substitute player after 100 Thieves promoted Aaron "b0i" Thao—an analyst for the team prior to the announcement—to a starting role on the team. That addition came just a few weeks before the NA LCQ, which 100 Thieves finished third in.

Where steel will end up as a result of this transfer is currently unconfirmed, but recent reports have hinted that he has been in talks with T1 T1 Korea Rank #3 stax Kim Gu-taek (김구택) Meteor Kim Tae-O (김태오) Sylvan Ko Young-sub (고영섭) BuZz Yu Byung-chul (유병철) iZu Ham Woo-ju (함우주) to join them as their fifth player and new in-game leader.

Thats true, but steel same as Subroza, inconsistent player, when they wake up they playing like beast, but when they off they start malding in comms, rather fixing their problem
Steel was 100T problem since dicey still 100T player, But replacing steel to b0i not a great idea

Its becuase he still has 1 yr left on his contract which ends on late 2022, but a team like T1 dont want to wait for him to be a FA so they buyout of his contract.
