Thoughts on MIBR

Great run for a newly formed team with 2 rookies who have clearly never played a tier 1 BO5. Give them more experience and I bet they qualify for champions (or get top 5 in stage 1).
Aspas is still goated but his opping was clearly shut down. MIBR needs more double initiator comps and yes artzin is a good raze but with double duelist and skye only you rely only on slow defaults and you can only go aggresive if you have a raze ult.

Compare that with breach or tejo or more fade. There's also so many times where artzin died first without being traded.
I feel that aspas should be more aggresive, and I personally hate the baiting/statpas narrative but it's true to some extent, he still sometimes plays too passive/safe.
He can be more aggressive with double initiator comps.

Have them grind more for a month then they'd be top 4 in my opinion.

they just need time to improve (aka aspas stop baiting and teammates not being so inconsistent)

Dw I saw the original lol. VLR needs to make so that the second someone edits a comment, it tells you. For some reason it waits until a couple of minutes later.

yeah, it's expected, but they did so well to get top 3. They just need more experience and them grinding and playing more in stage 1 can help alot

i feel with more time to develop their map pool they will be at least contending to go to the next masters. i think this is more growing pains for mibr than sentinels just being great ill be honest i think sen will hit their peak with this roster in bangkok

it means way more to g2 we keep getting 2nd and sen just arent competition in their current form they even know that if we lose its bc we lost to ourselves. i really hope to see g2 finally win tmrw. and then bangkok.

Very individual heavy. They're going to get fried by teams that are solid in structure who also have individual players who can shine, like sen g2 100t and nrg. Maybe will get more polished and expand their map pool with time, but their path here in general wasn't the most convincing thing to begin with.

I agree. Aspas saved them during the KRU match and theyre teamplay is a bit disorganized.

it makes sense though they are only 1 month of prac they started 3 days before kickoff and changed igl after the first game

Well, they did beat 4 non-br teams. So they should be top 5~

SA teams are always going to be individual heavy, they dont like playing as structured which can be detrimental for teams at times as well

Need more time and to adapt to the meta. Them sticking with old comps hurts and the new players need some time in the rough to get better. Could easily see them in champs depending on how champ points work out though.
