i wanna try it
just sucked the story was so like 1 dimensional but i did only play for the first season or whatever its called. the movement is what set it apart and the team rotations are cool. going back to genshin the movement is seriously lacking lmao
Yeah if youre looking for world-building then it got that covered. until you've catched up to the end game is where it gets boring but that'll propably happen like 5 months from straight playing the game
It was definitely one of the weakest regions but I liked nahida a lot and the final act made me really sad so I give it a little bit of props, fontaine is just unbeatable overall in terms of cast and cutscenes, natlan is ass from what I've heard though
Yeah I didn't play Natlan too, but my overall favorite region is definitely Inazuma. I love Kamisato siblings
Boring ass Archon Quest, You literally spend like 2 hours trying to wake up from a dream it was PAINFUL to play
Desert is boring
This one is subjective but I don't like Sumeru characters at all, Fontaine & Inazuma characters were so much more interesting
0 benefits to playing games that are designed to draw money from your wallet, if you want to waste time grinding random tasks just play OSRS or any random idle game, if you want to play anime inspired games there are hundreds of amazing JRPGs to play
Metaphor Refantazio is amazing, new game released last year from the Persona team
all of fatlus
unicorn overlord
final fantasy
chronotrigger
trails series (peak)
and valorant isnt designed to draw money from your wallet? LOL maybe a little bit hypocritical
where did i say valorant was a game worth playing lmao, also the difference between a game built for esports and a game built for farming whales is quite large
It's alright if you REALLY enjoy reading/weird complicated lore/story. I have like 1k hours but quit because it got very very stale. Give it a try tho :)
aey twin if u want to join this late, u would have to do a shitload of quests and shit to even get to relax and play the game i would suggest getting a well leveled account if u want i can give u mine and see for urself
nah literally idk how the game will have any new players bcos to get to the new content it will take months of just grinding the story to get there. im AR58 and its even boring then bcos all i do is abyss n im still in fontaine cos theres just sm talking but ive explored basically half of natlan. the story just is so slow
fr bro we are almost nearing snezhnaya and there's still so much to uncover in the story, we don't have much about celestia, we've only met one actual dragon sovereign, other than ronova and istaroth we have 0 idea about the other shades, idk why hoyo wants to gatekeep the story so much its so slow that its annoying as fuck
i dont even know what youre on about like i have no idea about any of it. i think theyve made it so you can skip quite alot of it but that just means so far its been pretty irrelevant which is just a waste of time lmao. kinda gathered that cos all we do is go to a region looking for help and theyre like well you gotta help us first and its just boring. i paid attention until inazuma, sumeru killed me off the desert is painful
its alright, not as bad as people make it seem but not good enough to warrant the popularity
good looking fun characters, also good if you like exploring since the map has gotten pretty big now, but quests can easily get too long and boring with useless dialogue and it might require a lot of time getting to the end game, there are better games out there if you have some money to spend
its pretty good but it can get boring during the midgame at least thats what happened for me
Tbh I play it every now and then just to scratch the gambling itch, I don't really care about the story and the gameplay is ehh. It looks wonderful though
if you just want to mindlessly grind/explore while listening to music or podcasts it’s fire, i played it from launch till sumeru came out
It's good if you're a casual who have got stuff to do irl, even if you don't like anime at all
It's a fun game, but it gets stale VERY quick once you reach the current end-game. With the amount of content that's out there now a new player would be occupied for months. The worldbuilding and music are fantastic (I unironically listen to the OST pretty often). It's really just the combat (and the English VAs if you play on English) that can get repetitive really quick unless you actively seek a challenge or a new team comp.
A lot of my enjoyment came from competing with my friends to see who could deal the most damage to an enemy in a single attack. I would farm the best artifacts and level up entire teamcomps to level 90 to get that damage up. But, I farmed so hard that I was cruising through the story and eventually I was done doing nothing but Abyss and wait for the next patch.
I would recommend since there's a lot of content. Just, take care not to spend much (or even better, don't spend at all). I played Genshin for a long time but I never spent a penny.
its a good game until you reach end game. im actually pretty excited to pick the game back again once all the regions are out which will take just a few more years
my friend used to play it within months he turned into
degenerate
hentai enjoyer
edgy e kid
spent around 250 usd for the new hero's
so i won't recommend it, if you got some money you can buy Stardew Valley.
play if you enjoy running around, collecting loot, collecting anime characters and looking at pretty scenery
if you care more about combat and movement wuwa is more fun
both have a lot of mediocre to bad quests/writing but genshin writing is better overall and has some good points
also what a lot of ppl arent mentioning about the boring endgame is that it takes literally hundreds of hours to get there, so yeah its really boring but dont let that stop you lol
its fun if u not so focus on characters. The story is good, its like a movie forr me. But if u grind for characters (gacha), its not fun anymore cause u have to explore map, do quest (which is very suffering),etc..... After playing genshin for aboouot 100 days, as a free to play player, i have to grind for characters, which i felt the past 100 days is a waste of time
its okay. if the combat seems to be interesting to you i would try it. if you dont like exploration dont bother, as 90% of genshins content is exploration. the main storyline isnt bad but the first main storyline quests will no doubt feel dated. i played it a ton a couple years ago but got burned out of it
