as someone from Palestine-Kebab is a skewer of meat on a stick (can be chicken/beef, sometimes with tomato/onion). A shawarma is a sandwhich which is made from meat on roatiting spit which meat is cut from added with choice of vegtables and sauce put on pita bread. A doner kebab is just the meat on the rotating spit.
