Try to have a conversation with them, especially when it comes to animals. I know it sounds ridiculous, but personifying animals when they unsettle you does wonders to the mind. Personally, I talk to myself when I'm in scary places.

i mean if ur italian 2 of these arent really much of an issue, dogs on the other hand are everywhere.

Like ever since i learned that bears dont care if ur dead or not before they start eating u ive had an irrational fear of them(Irrational because they dont exist on my side of norway)
