When people say the certain cuisine is better cause of spiciness, do they mean the spice or the hot spicy flavor?
For example Indian or south Asian food is goated case of spices used not for just having that pepper spicy flavor. But I see people always talk about India food for it's hot spicy flavors. Also actually I am sure that all indian food isn't really that spicy or hot(depends heavily on region tbh).

only badly made food will only ever taste of burning. any cuisine that correctly uses spice normally has underlying flavours. at least that is what i have noticed. sometimes the spice overpowers, but the beauty of spicy food is that it is layered and complex.

I mean that hot noodles that is viral isn't what I would call flavorful. There are many such spicy food which are too overpowered by just the spicy flavor. Yet I see some people call this taste flavorful and full of spice lol. Anyway spicy flavor is so overrated. Spicy flavor alone doesn't taste good at all. And too much spicy makes food inedible.

the viral hot noodles are only hyped up by people who think its cool to have a high spice tolerance. theres no way they actually enjoy the taste; instead they like the idea of the spicy noodles. or they add other stuff to give the food more flavour than it has on its own, but with such overpowering spice, you would need an equally strong additional flavouring which defeats the purpose of the spice itself. that is an example of poorly made food, because most good spicy food will have other flavours and wont need added stuff for it to taste good. in cuisines, dishes tend to be made with many flavours infused with some spice, and that is an example of spicy food done right. non spicy food that is well flavoured is much better than something that has only been seasoned with the world's spiciest chilli.

Yeah confused about that. Do people mean spice as pepper hot spicy favor only or actually the various substance like turmeric cumin used to flavor the food?

It can be both they're kind of two separate distinct things that use the same word, like any other ingredient a 'spice' can have it's own flavour.
But If you want the pure feeling of spiciness in a dish for example, you'd just use hot sauce or chilli flakes. What actually makes the spicy feeling is usually a compound called Capsaicin (not always though).
