If we are comparing 2 players at face value and inserted them into x team, where on that team the roles wouldn't be set in stone, players who have a larger agent pool will be of greater value. I presume you made this thread because of people saying SicK is better than Victor because he can flex many roles. In this general comparison, the first thing we would compare is them on the Phoenix. Before this comparison, I'm going to say these 2 shouldn't be compared because the way they play Phoenix is very different. SicK will help TenZ get into a prime position for entry onto the site using utility, and TenZ will entry frag (a lot of the time if they are together). Vic will be the straight-up entry fragger, using utility to help himself get the frag. With that being said here are the stats of each.
SicK who has played Phoenix 27 times:
ACS: 258.8
ADR:160.5
K/D: 1.38
Victor who has played Phoenix 28 times:
ACS: 272.5
ADR: 164.6
K/D: 1.4
These stats are the most simple stats we have, and they are very, very similar.
As I said before, Victor is a main entry fragger, SicK can entry, but he supports the entry very well. Here are stats to back this up:
SicK First Kill/First Death ratio:
84/56
Victor First Kill/First Death Ratio:
117/71
We see that Victor is basically better at entrying, while other values are very similar. Now that we've done the Phoenix comparison, I think we can agree that Victor may bring more value, and we have also seen that he can use utility very well in combo (i'm referring to the molly astra suck combo in ascent a main).
Moving on now to the reason why other agent flexibility may be brought up. Yes, I would say Victor is a better Phoenix player than SicK. But can he play another role on the team? Not really. So going back to the point at the start, having flexibility makes you a more valuable player, not necessarily a better one. If we have the perfect team, and the only slot open is a Phoenix/entry fragger role, I am picking Victor over SicK. If we can flex comps by using agents such as Sage, Viper, Skye, Breach, etc., I'd take SicK. The comparison is all based around the supporting cast, and I don't think there's every going to be a perfect team scenario, where the entry fits so well, which is why many people choose SicK for this specific reason.
I hope this answered your question here, and your question about Victor vs SicK. Have a good night people
