Why Ascent Is Back

Because the pros wanted it. Although its boring to watch now, its still one of the best maps for pro play.
And Icebox is coming back because everyone is sick of Abyss, and Icebox is still fun to the majority both pros and non-pros/viewers.
Breeze stays out because the pros wanted that to.
Everything makes sense.

this is why its the best for pros, they are too lazy to find a new meta so they can use the same strats they have been using

Idk abt that but ascent being played the same way every time adds something really interesting to the pool

Which team can do the proven thing best, rather than finding something that works

I never really liked ascent, but i downright hate it now after watching it crack PRX and force them to play a meta comp

i would honestly fw ascent coming back if the map had some minimal yet meta-breaking changes (even if they are temporary)

ascent is the scientific method of figuring out which teams are better than others

queue Trace beating everyone on the map but sucking ass at the others because it forces you to play one specific way and not be adaptable like the other maps
