He's like semi calm, he's definitely sacrificed some precision for speed and commits to sprays way more than his prime where he was tapping and trying to really hunt heads.
His first bullet accuracy is still really good though so it doesnt show as much, but the fact that he's noticeably changed his style kinda helps my point about calm aim slowly dying
calm aim is objectively worse than fast aim
its simple logic
faster shooter>faster the bullet hits the other guy's head>wins the duel
anyone can aim like aleksander holding a wide ass angle taking a million years to shoot yea he has clips but those r against dogshit immortals
theres a clip of him saying about how he should take his time to shoot because "look how long it takes for the other guy to kill me"
unfortunately not very long in tier 1
his face is nowhere seen in tier 2 even
ppl who have "calm aim" their mechanics are just not good enough to have fast aim
securing the kill is faster is inheriently better tho..........no one said fast aim isnt precise, however if u cant be both fast and precise just be precise, but the best aimers will always be the ones that can achieve both rather than just one
im sorry but if u need to take 200 millseconds more to focus your crosshair to secure the kill while a faster aim style guy can do it in 200 miliseconds less then ud be dead
its simple as that
if u take it to the extreme (aimbot) then thats the ultimate fastest and most precise you would go
having more mechanical skill allows you to be faster while still being precise
vs having less mechanical skill you would most likely have to suffer being fast and just focus on precision
this should not be a debate
the so called reason why people think "calm" aim is better is because they are unable to be both precise and fast at the same time....... and they have the time to take their time to aim before getting killed
however at the top of tier 1 its a different story
also the so-called "aiming" is not about crosshair placement btw, having good crosshair placement has nothing to do with calm aim and fast aim, its just clicking a mouse
this is about moving your mouse from point A to point B, THAT is aim
The way I think about it is how willing are you to flick fast to a target past their head then use the burst/spray to correct vs taking the time to make sure the burst is on their head, like aleksandar (the extreme example)
All of those guys have insane first bullet accuracy + fast correction, making them fast and accurate (a deadly combo), but they are not calm aimers
Calm aim is not a good thing. Disciplined aim is a good thing.
If you have good reaction habits you can make the motions fast, there is no benefit to moving your cursor slower. Pros do take time to realize where a target is and then make a fast motion because their aim is good, as long as that time is taken and the target is recognized they can shoot however they want. It's not like primmie is just panic spammingz he is clearly giving himself a bit of time before shooting, even if it is very short.
