This advances DFM to the grand final, while Paper Rex goes down to the lower final.

The two map series was played on Split and Ascent. DFM took both maps with scores of 15-13 and 13-8 respectively.

Paper Rex and DFM have a short history with each other. They have faced off only three times before, two of them being their regular season matches in the Pacific league. Given DFM's lack of success in the league, Paper Rex has dominated every match, having never dropped a map to them before. However, this iteration of DFM has proven more competitive than ever before, having taken down numerous top teams in their tournament run, including the reigning world champions, EDward Gaming EDward Gaming China Rank #1 S1Mon Hsien Meng-Hsun (谢孟勋) ZmjjKK Zheng Yongkang (郑永康) nobody Wang Senxu (王森旭) CHICHOO Wan Shunzhi (万顺治) Smoggy Zhang Zhao (张钊) .

The first map was Paper Rex's pick of Split, a home ground for them, having already played it three times this tournament. DFM's pistol win was immediately answered by a round two thrifty, giving Paper Rex an early lead and momentum in the half. They would quickly jump out to a 6-2 lead, but Jinboong would claw back some rounds for DFM, bringing their half score up to five.

Despite a second pistol win for DFM, the second half started with a string of Paper Rex wins, bringing them up to an 11-8 lead. However, in classic Paper Rex fashion, they would squander their anti-eco to allow DFM a chance back into the game. Four rounds in a row brought DFM to 12, before Paper Rex took the final round to bring about their seventh overtime of the tournament.

For the first three rounds of overtime, the two teams took turns trading defensive rounds, until SSeeS , the stand-in for DFM, found a 1v3 on the B site to win the organization's first ever map against Paper Rex.

SSeeS clutches out the map in overtime.

The second map played was Ascent, a map which has infamously plagued Paper Rex for the past year. In contrast, Ascent is one of the few maps where DFM was able to find any success in their Pacific campaign.

Paper Rex's discomfort on the map was almost immediately evident. After they won the pistol and second round, DFM took the next six rounds unanswered. The half would end at 8-4 in favor of DFM.

Paper Rex came out in the second half to win their second pistol of the map, and would go further to win the bonus round, bringing them back into the game. However, once again, the eco round would strike, and DFM, armed with only Sheriffs, would win the round and halt any chance of a Paper Rex comeback. DFM dominated the rest of the half, and closed out the map 13-8.

Meiy led the server with 21 kills.

With this win, DFM continue their undefeated run in the tournament, having yet to lose a match.
