how much would you guys be willing to pay for a mousepad that has zero friction and lasts for a long time?
Some friction is good, no?
you can achieve higher peaks with lower friction
zero friction means you literally not aim at all right?
no it means you can slide your mouse and make infinitely small microflicks regardless of sens--without the physical limits of your mouse getting stuck
also increases the cap on tracking
zero friction would mean you could not stop your mouse from sliding on the mouse pad
yeah maybe if you were just pushing it, but you know you hold a mouse, right...?
yea im dumb mb
Imagine your mouse doesn't touch the surface, but instead of your hand the weight is still supported by the table.
yea I've come to my senses i just thought about with humans involved for some reason
so a glasspad?
no, less friction than a glasspad + your arm doesn't stick to it
No one should be paying over $20-20 max for a mouse pad ever
your favorite pro does
They get it for free
But for those people Valorant is literally their job so they are a exception also don’t think a mousepad makes that much of a difference you could get a very good mousepad for 5$
it will in the volatile competitive environments or at least the pros will want to make sure. or they might use one out of superstition
Well lucky we are not pros so we don’t have to worry about that plus there are many examples of pros who had very bad setups before making it pro
before tho and my superstition point applies to that
By before we are still talking about radiant players who are extremely skilled at the game and just need that extra boost by improving their setup
As for superstition I don’t think that applies to anyone apart from the pro themselves
i mean maybe this is a hot take but i dont think there's a need to spend very much on peripherals if you dont want to become a proplayer
if you want to and have the money, then go ahead
true, my peripherals are less than 80 euros total and they're totally enough for what I do
