As someone who has followed Zekken from xset, I would go for him
Oxy is still very cracked tho
However if I would build my team around a player, i would pick Zekken

one has an intl trophy (and i think an mvp?) and the other is on a team known for not making it to intl events you make the decision

OXY has better mechanics, no doubt, which is why I would go for OXY over zekken too. The biggest deal breaker for me is zekken's lack of ability to op and use jett as whole, OXY's jett is just different.

I don't think mada means what he says. Zekken is very overrated and the craze around him from platchat to random viewers and SEN fans is kinda crazy, that being said he is still a top 5 duelist, which oxy is NOT. I feel like mada is kind of jealous of how recognized zekken is and he is allowed to feel that way because he is as good as zekken if not better.

If we're talking pure mechanics, a lot of players are better than Zekken. Zekken's Jett isn't great because his mechanics aren't on the level of Aspas, but he's still effective because he's a very smart player.

How is this even comparison zekken has diffed Oxy every match up they played. And people who say zekken jett is not as good just remember c9 vs sen in haven . He obliterated Oxy every chance he got. The fact to think Oxy has anything form of strength higher than zekken is got to be one of the most braindead things I’ve heard .
