They have 17% of the worlds population but not a single player in tier 1 as a main player or a sub, that's not 1 out of 240 main players and what 100? 6 mans so 340 players lmao how 17% of the population is Indian r they rly that bad or what

It's not shit lmfao
We are shit at video games
I am not even sugarcoating it
I am not writing paras about why because at this point, everyone knows why, no point in repeating it

Then say that you guys are shit lmfao. You're making it seem like indian doesn't show interest at gaming, even though they DO

#10

Not really
Most people here don't even have pcs and when they do it's a laptop and they are 19, in college, with family responsibilities
Don't think gaming is anyone's career choice unless you have the resources

What makes you think your country is the only one that is like that lmao.

Every country has a different culture
Our culture is like that
We don't do video gaming
Maybe as a hobby never as the main job
You don't know my people better than me lmfao
These are not excuses to being bad
Just the reasons

I don't know why you are hating. But its probably due to family responsibilities that come to you when you are from a traditional family and in India as well as Nepal we are not getting any high end pcs that can run valorant. Even if they do its prolly for college. After that you have to look after your family so there you have your answer. We cannot afford it or we don't think of it as a necessity. Also I have seen many people's family not supporting gaming as a career.

The real stat to compare is how many people play the game intending to go professional

From what I've observed, the Indian Valorant pros have very little drive and motivation to get better and perform well on stages higher than South Asia Challengers, and it's sad cuz the orgs they're in pay them well enough to the point where they don't NEED to improve, they can just farm within India and they'll be set. I think Rushindra said this himself in a video answering all the claims against GE not signing Indian pros. He didn't even sugarcoat the fact that Indian pros are lazy

Gaming is not popular in india, that's why, there are like so less PC players, movile gaming is to some extent pretty popular. India is just bad at esports. It's just the popularity thing

99% of people who are in their post 30s don't know u can earn through video games, for them video games are offline or story mode games and the age group of 15-25 is the most active in esports
90% of this age group of 15-25 came to know about esports when Pubg Mobile was released including me
PC gaming is still not that famous here, lets say I have 50 friends 40 follow mobile esports and 5 follow PC esports including me
