Might sound biased because of my flag but I really believe that the Philippines would have the best cheers from a crowd for all teams if an international event were to be held here, even chinese team (despite the beed with PH and CN politically). Wbu guys? Wanna hear more..

From what I've experienced, I really enjoyed the crowd in Masters Tokyo 2023. For me hands down the best
The support and sportsmanship was insane despite no japanese teams qualifying.
I would also say that yesterday's KC event's crowd aura was top tier... so the french. Amazing energy

Curious as to why you chose the philippines as we've never had an international event in that country have we?

Worst crowd is hands down brazil.
Lock-in 2023 crowd was incredibly disrespectful towards their opponents. Especially during that Fnatic v Loud grand finals

I mean, crowds is "disrespectfull" towards the enemy team, and is more that, if the team represents the whole country.
Any sport is like this, isnt one sided bc people literally travel the world to see their country playing.

I say it because other esports have held events here. Dota held a major here long ago and the crowd was hype as hell, the players who attended the event still say the event was the best event Dota has ever had to this day alongside the french crowd (I agree on you with the french crowd).

Tokyo is good as in lawful good. They respect all teams but it felt a bit bland. for esports for me personally I prefer the more chaotic crowd, like SEA or Brazil.

In Dota manila major is said to be the best major. So it might be true.

I think there's a few basic conditions for a good crowd
not in any order

  1. A massive fanbase in the country
  2. As many teams playing in the event from that country as possible (the deeper the run the better)
  3. (Hot take maybe) A country where being super respectful isn't engrained in culture (take JP for example for where it's engrained, they weren't biased but they were a bit milder, and BR as a counter example (Not to say they can't be respectful, the word I'd use to describe them is 'passionate'))

For these reasons I think LOCK//IN was the best crowd so far, if you look at the FNC voice comms video for the event you can hear how loud the crowd got, even on stage. Sure there were drawbacks as the crowd was pretty disrespectful towards the end, but at least during the game it was entertaining asf

I think it is slightly subjective though, like some people may prefer a less biased crowd which is open to support more teams, it'd give us things like CN sort of accepting TH as a home team at Shanghai more often. I think either one is good but I prefer the first example with a biased crowd. Edit: pretty much what #3 said

I think a PH crowd will be generally good, they tick boxes 1 and 3 (Fanbase, Passion) but box 2 might be a bit less likely

People need to realise you team sometimes willn"t get a single person cheering for they in stage, and this is completly fine.
Its their home, their people. Lets say Lock in never happend in Brazil, and it was in Paris. People would cheer for Fnatic and only Fnatic at the finals, and this would be completly fine for us Brazilians, ofc we would trash talk if we had won, but we would understand why their crowd was so loud.

Football only have Brazilian fans in fucking Russia, because we literally travel to there, if wasnt that, Brazil wouldn't had crowd.

i wonder if aussie will be nice, their cs crowd is always top tier and i think their presence in both esports aren't high

France if a French team plays, or Japan, or China. My hot take is Brazil. Please no more biased NA fans.

I think French. Overall French crowd is usually pretty good and isn't even that biased. Usually when French players/teams get eliminated in CS events they still keep cheering, and we even saw that in the Worlds finals. On top of that they have arguably best and loudest "Ultras" for teams like Team Vitality and Karmine Corp. And overall I think that they like different games and support their teams no matter who is on it, and I think even Valorant would get good audience. Also good location because people all over Europe(and outside of Europe) can relatively easily attend and also good country for inviting people like streamers/celebs because well France is likely pretty attractive destination.

Brazil crowds are insane when Brazilian teams are playing, but sadly they only cheer for them and become mid when others are playing/winning.

None, Riot is a problem, they dont allow too much noise, they dont allow you take drums, and they put a loud ass music so u cant chant.

KC crowd was goted, bc was a event hosted by KC, not by Riot. Europe is goated at crowds, it could be like Cs or football, if this didnt happen, and Valorant fans was not soo ungornazid and shy.
