tldr ; They made soloQ agent even more soloQ, and proplay agent even more proplay for the sake of "Identity"
Chamber could literally take over any game, have full controll over 3 or 4 lanes, and he was good on every single map. You can still kill a Neon sliding, if an Iso has his shield up, he can tank a headshot. Neon is not the best duelist on every single map.
I would much rather go up against current neon over Iso and Prime chamber.
I think it all comes down to how good you are at the game speaking from ranked perspective. Diamond and below, most of the time players aim is mediocre so they don't find constant value in iso and chamber meaning you can win the duel against them. Compared to a neon, if you're bad at tracking, most of the time you will lose to the neon regardless of how good the neon is.
I'm sure pre-nerfed chamber was busted in immo up but in the slums of diamond and below, players didn't know how to use chamber properly
Idk to me chamber felt kinda fair, like oh I could have jumpspotted or called for a drone or a flash or something damn this sucks but it makes some sense, also thia guy has great aim damn go next.
With Neon it's like ... i am stunned by a line up i have 4 chances to fire an inaccurate bullet before i get ran the fuck down by some kid on aderalll. Losing to a good neon just sucks and feels like you have no chance and i feel like its why people dont like the agent. (I was in low elo during chamber meta and I am now playing against immo+ neons so maybe I am biased)
neon is stupid to play against, but she's not game breaking -- just stupid. when people found out how powerful chamber is, you had two chambers in every game. if your team didn't pick a chamber and the enemy team did, it was basically GG.
and i somewhat agree with CanadaMan -- gigabuffed Iso was a million times worse than current Neon, but the devs were at least smart enough to not let him ruin the game for months on end.
