Xiaojie (王晓杰), expanding their active roster to six players.
rushia, a former Controller player for Bilibili Gaming's academy, joins with no experience at the top level of competitive Valorant. His signing is Bilibili's first offseason activity since parting ways with Flex1n and yosemite . rushia is expected to fill the void left by them.
He joins a Bilibili team that, in 2024, went through an up-and-down season. To start the year, they failed to reach Masters Madrid following an exit in the play-ins stage of China Kickoff. A disappointing China Stage 1 saw them finish 7th-8th and miss out on Masters Shanghai. Changes were made heading into Stage 2, which saw BLG make playoffs and qualify for Champions Seoul. Their Champions campaign was short-lived though, as they would crash out of the group stage with two straight defeats.
Not much is known about rushia or how Bilibili will approach matches with their six-man roster, but the curtain will rise soon. They will kick off their OFF//SEASON with an appearance at FGC Invitational 2024, where they will compete in a double-elimination tournament with ten Chinese VCT teams.
