Sure, but mechanical skill is mechanical skill. You think a highly mechanically gifted team like Heretics just doesn't shoot back because it's practice?
Go look at SPG's comps and tell me why Fnatic stole their Haven comp, or why Trace beat Leviatan with their Bind comp.
These guys obviously know what they're doing.
Considering Neil literally said SPG farmed Heretics in scrims then at the bare minimum they have the level of mechanics to contend with them. Teams aren't going to somehow "aim less" just because it's a scrim lol. And Heretics are one of the most mechanically talented teams in the world?
And like I said, mechanics aren't enough but they obviously have enough knowledge of the game that tier 1 teams like Fnatic are copying their comps.
But in actual match I don't see spg win against top level of teams of pacific like drx geng or even prx rn with what they have shown so far. I never said they are bad or can't show some competition but overrating them this much isn't good for even them. Let them win ascension first and show it themselves if they are capable enough in t1. I feel like some of you guys are underrating t1 top teams too much.
It's not overrating them to state facts. Neil said SPG farmed Heretics in scrims. At the bare minimum, it means they have the mechanics to contend with the 2nd place team at Champs and 2nd best team of 2024.
Which is impressive. They also obviously have enough conceptual knowledge to create comps that are taken by tier 1 teams like Fnatic. Which is also impressive.
I didn't say they'd easily beat Heretics or GENG or PRX or whatever. I just stated the facts.
You're the one who said PRX will "easily" win. Which might not be true. I think sure PRX will win but I'm not underrating or overrating any team by saying it'd be "easy". The only one doing any kind of overrating is you.
I still think any top 3 team from any region will win against spg from what they have shown so far. Also that's not overrating when prx even in their low have shown what they are capable of. Also it wasn't for just you but many are downplaying t1 teams to hype spg rn. Just let spg win this event first. Also scrims are always a very different thing. Like edg were getting destroyed in champs scrims but we saw what happened in actual matchups.

And what they're incapable of. Let's be real. PRX are just as likely to make bad mistakes that cost them games as much as insane plays that win them ones. You're just focusing on the latter over the former. Once again, I'm not saying PRX will lose. I think it's obvious a tier 1 team like PRX would win against an inexperienced team like SPG. But I don't necessarily think it'll be easy.

Sure, and GENG were undefeated in scrims at Madrid. And although GENG barely scrimmed at Shanghai I'm pretty sure they did well there too.
