Ascension Age Restriction

I was wondering if Ascension winners that are underage can play in VCT, i thought they couldnt but multiple people on twitter have said that Dantedeu5 said on stream that riot told him he would be allowed to play (despite not being 18 untill june 2025).
Does any of u have more informations on this topic?

nah im pretty sure its riots own policy,esl is a german based company but cs pros can compete in all events at 16 including the ones in germany

Not true at all. Last year Juicy couldn’t play because he wasn’t 18 and I’m pretty sure there are others as well.

it makes no sense riot has it at 18 tbh,idk how its about labor laws like people say when in cs its 16 for all events
