Apparently she was a pretty talented player in the gc scene and retired due to carpal tunnel injury which is a wrist pain injury caused by some nerve twisting and in the wrist but the injury is actually treatable unless its like extremely severe rare case where the nerve damage can't be healed , but in most cases normal treatment or some surgery can treat it fully and it's recurrence is rare, but still she retired completely does anyone know why , like she could have just taken some off time for recovery?

retiring in valorant tends to mean "I might come back eventually" so like probably don't put too much stock in that

could be a combination of burnout and the decline of game changers
its probably better for her career to go back to school and play collegiate

in the US, university/college sports are VERY big, to the point where there are entire teams and programs dedicated to one sport. That's what a collegiate sport is -- just a university team that competes in a sport.

if you talk to an American about football, chances are they'll mention college football, because it's huge. same with college basketball (march madness is very popular).

Many American universities have esports programs, many of which include Valorant. There are already a handful of ex-pros playing for some college teams -- ec1s (ex-100T) and jcStani (ex-GenG) competed for Maryville University. Also, Blinn College's team (with the same name) competed in NA Challengers this year.

because there were cases in other esports where a player gets the same or similar injury and never recovers his skill (e.g. Guardian in 2016, Olofmeister in 2017).
