look at it this way: we know magnum + enzo + shadow (based on people talking mainly the first 2) was able to create a great igl'ing core back in Apeks
IF they can reproduce that combination then theres no reason to not keep magnum
gotta trust that KC have a plan, they overcame everyones big role worries last year too (and then got wrecked with comps anyways but ya know, in theory solved that issue)
i think engh is fantastic obviously. he seems to be banking on molding magnum into what he wants to see and i respect giving time to develop which is rare and somewhat needed.
...but
magnum didnt show any real progress across the full year imo. if he got at least a little bit better we could be talking. So i respectfully disagree with the goat coach lol.
might as well make avez the new project and kick magnum for a player with higher individual skill. because if you match up larok with magnum you will get crushed. like just fill the spot with better players.
At the end of the day the burden is on the igl. most teams have the simple absolutist structure with the main igl having to call it all. Sure secondary callers help but you shouldnt NEED a second caller. If you do youre a bad IGL. Simple as.
Well in the same 10mans I heard his comms I also saw Magnum's and I was very positively impressed, he didn't feel like just a stratcaller, but I can believe he ran out of ideas at some point. Having a second caller is very important and almost every team does, if they didn't last year that could have bee the issue.
Idk I'm just fucking yapping we'll see, I like the signing
