He isnt wrong throught, but Tenz was a very good smoker, OP is wrong in one thing.

Wanna say he was the best player? Ok go on, best smoker? There are a ton of pro players who understand how to use the smokers kits better, Demon1 was just a aimer.
I meant util wise. Sure, he stomped Mako back in 2023, but Mako's util and agent pool is far better than Demon1's, as a matter of fact, Jawgemo was a far better smokes player than he was in terms of util and agent pool because at least Jaw knew how to support with his paranoia. He can't support properly, his games on NRG are proof, my guy missed a bunch of paranoias and sometimes only used them for his own duels. Let the guy join SEN, please do, but I just hope they'll be able to find someone who can play Omen and not just let Demon1 play the agent.
Well, it is true. His Omen was so bad that they never let him play Omen again. And yes, my entire post is about playing omen because Omen is the most picked controller in pro play (alongside Viper, which Demon1 also can't play). And yes, Jawgemo is a better smokes player than Demon1, half of his plays were set up by the likes of Jaw and Ethan anyways.

Hear yourself throughout this entire thread, I never said he was the worst or 2nd worst player on the team. Nor did I say that he was an awful smokes player (but I did say that his Omen was awful lmao no denying that). And Omen will still remain in the meta for sure, no reason for him not to just because Astra got buffed. He's never touched Viper because he can't play Viper??
Hey man no need to get angry, my entire point was that he couldn't smokes on a team by himself, they need someone else to fill the role for him when the map needs an agent that Demon1 can't play.
But here's a better suggestion, let him play Sentinel. He said it himself that he played Cypher and KJ on the reserve roster of EG before he subbed in for BcJ

Whatever you are saying doesn't have anything to do with what I commented. Since you are too arrogant to listen to, I just chose to ignore. Now that you have messaged me, I don't wanna continue this. As I said earlier, talks facts to back ur claim. Dont talk irrelevant shit. I still believe Tenz never had a year like Demon1 had in 2023 in his whole career.
Arguable, but although demon1 has played both astra and brimstone, tenz playing just omen works because omen is vital on almost every map except icebox and bind, which tenz plays different agents for. Demon1 not being able to play omen is a huge hit to his viability as a controller player because of how viable omen is.
Also, just because demon1 was the best controller player "at some point" does not mean they still are. Replacing tenz on sentinels would most likely not be a good idea, as they would have a disadvantage on omen maps (most maps in the game), and his duelist play is covered by zekken.
Even if astra became meta with the newer buffs, double controller would become super powerful, meaning they still would probably need an omen player, something nobody else on sentinels has shown they can do.
That's why I said it's not about trophies. Now you are bringing Boaster stats. Boaster was never a shooting IGL. Although he's 2023 stats were good. He was the clutch master in that year. Tenz could have had a bad year due to his whatever personal problems, but they don't matter here. Demon1 clears Tenz even with trophies. Tenz should thank John and Zekken for giving him another trophy.
