I just joined his stream to see what he's doing and the first thing he says is "Years from now, there is hope" when asked if he will come back

cuz tenz is a smart man who knows that things can change, he has been smart with his career choices overall imo, he leaves no door shut

He's still fairly young, he's rich, he can come back whenever he wants. I'm guessing he just wants to take a break for a year or so. Less traveling, more time with kyedae and streaming. He's got the clout to make a return to the pro scene at a later date.

Kyedae said they want to move to Japan, I think he might move there 2025 and just take a break from E-Sports.
He is the most popular Valorant player of all time, he will find a team if he decides to rejoin the sport

I was going to make a post saying that Japan must be the reason. He had a vacation in Japan recently with Kyedae. Japan does that to people. He witnessed the simplistic enjoyment and decided to quit Valorant. If not for his friends in US he would have probably moved by now.
