Most teams at Bangkok have an academy roster.
Ez scrims Ez pracs
The EG 2023 strat of having a reserve roster to practice on is finally being realised
After that Team Liquid game, i wouldnt be surprised that they scrim against their academy roster to get better quicker faster stronger

I mean I would assume so with how talented the cubert roster is, and Sen did make bangkok so it might say something.

Certainly. I wouldn’t be shocked. EG reserve roster strat but better since its an academy team that can grind in tier 2 and make players ready to just get promoted up. Its genius honestly.

But what benefit is there to practicing against them? Against an academy you can tell them to play a certain comp or a certain way, against an affiliate team you can't. It would just be like any other prac

Nah brother that assumption is just not fair

I'm sure it helps but that is def not the reason teams qualified. First of all many teams have academies, and second of all, naturally more resourceful teams have better rosters. The sample size is not nearly big enough to make that assumption
