Given that for us french toast is generally made as a way to get rid of old bread (we call them "poor knights") pancakes clear
One of em is a treat the other is a chore. Both taste great though so its more the mental thing

I love both tho , and have no complains eating pancakes for breakfast vice versa
Not eating steak as a dessert lol.
