For the 2nd half of the year, he has probably played the best Valorant he has ever played, but all of that is just for two back to back international disappointments because he couldn’t carry Boaster and his liability hard enough.

In Masters Shanghai:

Derke had the highest ACS, ADR, and 2nd highest KPR.
Boaster had the 3rd worst average ACS, KD, ADR, and KPR. Successfully managed to exit out his team after only two matches despite being a 1st seed

Now in Champions Seoul:

Derke right now has the highest KPR, 4th highest rating, 2nd highest ACS and KD AND ADR
Boaster again sits at the bottom with one of the lowest stats across the board (lowest ADR, 2nd lowest ACS, etc)

Derke has been peaking but still wasn’t strong enough to carry his crippled IGL to the finish line for the 100th time, he even went +14 in his last match of 2024 while Boaster went -15, it’s like poetry right now, Ying and fucking Yang.

Even though Derke has been slandered like shit in the past, the moment he shows up to prove the haters wrong, he gets his igl to drag him down.

Boaster actually had some very impactful plays this event especially against SEN which the stats will never show, however with IGLs like Johnqt and Boo still maintaining consistent performances that arent just shot calling, I feel a replacement is due. He has been a veteran for Fnatic, but maybe coaching is his next step

Fair about Boaster lack of firepower, its plain for everyone to see, but the thing is that i doubt thjere are any valid substitutes in EMEA, the best mechanical IGL in EMEA rn are MrFalin, Boo and MAGNUM, i dont think any of those are avaiable on the market so FNC would have to gamble a bit and idk if theres any good candidates, if I was GM i would trial vo0kashu (doubt hes gonna get off the huge CN paycheck tho), Waddle (if he perorms well at ascension his stocks are gonna rise a lot) and KPZET (risky cause hes kinda old and has been playing well only recently)
