it's probably because intel has a bug/problem with their cpu that fries its electrical component for years, that they only patch it up like, this month.
that time ryzen was probably still shit with their 1st gen. it's not ur fault.
unless u bought it in 2020 and above and u still picked intel. that's your bad.
cheap laptops (with amd APUs) now can run modern games easily, of course with some exception.
and gaming laptops, the ones that usually priced above $1200 are equipped with at least 144hz monitor.
just, stay outta intel cpu + gpu combo.
i think most decent gaming laptops nowadays come with a 144hz screen and can pull around 200 fps so its very playable, just the 15 inch screen is kinda annoying
i'd suggest searching for the laptop on youtube and watch reviews, stress tests and gaming performance to see if you get the suitable performance that you want
