Wow. They really invested in a literal Valorant clone and are trying to get people to switch. Their game isn't even trying to hide that it's a valorant clone, from art style to killfeed, from UI to death animation.
You're overestimating how popular tarik and timmy are. Even if we were to consider that both of them combined have like a million fans, that's still nothing compared to the 19+ million playerbase that Valorant accumulated over years. And it is guaranteed that only a small fraction of that 1 million people fanbase is actually going to switch games.
Not to mention, the game is ass. Miracles like Valorant don't happen every week, where players from different games decide to switch. You need a large infrastructure for that, something that Shroud and Tarik and whoever else, doesn't have 100%. They are nothing compared to Riot.
The game is going to be dead in a month, just like The Finals. It has a shit gimmick that is going to get boring soon. The core playerbase of Valorant, the edaters, the rank sweats, the skin degens, the esports fans, they will never switch. Only the casuals might switch, and they will be back to Valo in a month or so when queue times for that shitty game gets higher and higher. I guarantee you that, a hundred percent, a thousand percent. So stop freaking out.
Cant blame them
Valorant piece of shit
Swiftplay full of edaters
Ass gameplay
Run and Gun somehow works (tf)
Skins way too expensive
You grind your ass for a month and get a little Gunbuddy which you get every month
Your ranked teammates are autistic and sold their brain
Replay system STILL not added
Riot Employees dont know what "Quality of Life" is
AFK Penalties suck
You will get 176 hrs of Comprtetive Ban for going AFK in an Unrated match
They're definitely getting paid/doing their friend Shroud a favor by shilling the game for him. Normal behavior
Will it kill Valorant? Probably not -- it's a completely different game with an admittedly awesome gimmick
Streamers can also try out new games without it implying that they're abandoning their former game btw. A lot of Overwatch streamers spent a while playing Marvel Rivals (the supposed new Overwatch Killer)
