jingg and something are both inflexible and overextend every other round, the fact that these two bots have a place in tier 1 in 2024 is wild
I mean, both of them are proper duelists. Something can raze, and jinggg can jett, so they could just kick one and keep the other. However, I would prefer this roster to stay together. I agree, they should probably do what trace do. It would also solve the massive overheating problem as sentinel would force them to cool down
something is pretty good, i think the team as a whole could use some better coaching/personal coaching rather than just team coaching. No hate on aleks but it doesn't seem like his plans are working. I want to see him forcing the team to play either wilder comps (like talon) or lean more into the w gaming and rush it down mid as a team rather than something going in by himself while mindfreak is lurking b and davai is planting A
yeah something honestly is more of a problem than jinggg. he keeps on making the stupidest mistakes, and the only reason why he doesnt get as much backlash is because his fragging ability is almost completely carried by his mechanics (he aims well so people think he is good). he definitely needs some personal coaching.
pros arent perfect, coaches get paid to make the players better. A coach should be calling out a player on his bullshit and telling them how to improve. Coaches arent just there to make strats, they are there to improve the team, if that means they are going to scrim 5v3's for 7 days in a row to drill it into a players head not to swing then thats what the coach is supposed to do. I dont see how they have coaches and analysts and the entire team still has issues with overheating and discipline.
granted in the recent edg game (atleast on the map i watched) they seemed way more disciplined and clean
damn bro, you think alecks isn't teaching them to not solo swing during man advantages? this is the equivalent of a player whiffing 3 magazines and your reaction is "the coach should be telling them how to improve and making them practice not missing 3 mags". these extremely basic mistakes shouldn't be made by any salaried pros irrespective of whether their coach tells them or not, not to mention that it's highly unlikely he hasn't taught them this shit
go watch the rest of the maps of EDG vs PRX and see how they played
I literally just didn't say that in any of my replies you are making shit up. Aleks obviously is a really good coach molding players like somwthing and jinggg to fit into this team and being able to control them. But aleks also doesnt seem to be a coach that can be hard on the players and call them out on their bad plays and force them to conform and change their playstyles. They need another coach or aleks needs to go one on one with the players to help them.
I am NOT saying that the players are free of criticism. They should also be vod reviewing and seeing their mistakes.
It doesn't make sense for a team with such high level players and a decent coach to be having issues easily solved from a coach on fiverr.
Honestly they are like sentinels 2021 they refuse to acknowledge metas. I don't see them going anywhere if they refuse to play meta agents. Jing is good but raze is at a low point with all those nerfs. He should go back to phnx or reyna. And something should really work on agents like yoru or flex like kayo and stuff. And they should stop relying on forsaken so much jason can't carry while he is also making calls.
