This isn't a hate boner post about SEN. I originally had SEN underdogging out of Group B but after seeing the week 1 results, it's not looking good. Put your bias as a fan or enjoyer aside.

I thought they would drop the deadlock for Champs but unfortunately no. At this point, going forward they will probably go back to their original "meta" comps after all the hate and the results but I fear that most of their tactics, strategies, and plans were built around the deadlock comps so I don't know how polished their old stuff will be.

They might beat FPX but it's going to have to be a monstrous effort to beat TH/Gen G in Lower Finals. It'd be cool to see them prevail but like I said, they are probably not up to speed with their old comps and are going to be at a heavy disadvantage.

nah nrg was playing bum ass clove deadlock bullshit comps at the beginning of split 2 with fns and s0m
towards the end they were playing standard comps and playing pretty well, but it was too late because they only practiced the weird comps

I would say a FPX and TH match is a coinflip, but I think both these teams are a bit more favored against Sen.

They keep playing double sentinels but they're trying to change their style of play and its just not working. When they were at their peak, their retakes were what made them stand out. They were so fucking good at retakes and efficient. With the deadlock and cypher lineup, you're meant to stay on site and not give it so easily. They just can't play well like that.

FPX played better against TH than SEN did against GENG. I don't even see how they'll beat FPX, let alone the other two teams to make it out.

If geng come out and wipe TH(very possible) then the narrative changes real quick, as much as SENs performance was not performing it was still against geng and tbh that haven attack side could have very easily ended 8-4 if not for SEN throwing like crazy

not saying SEN performed well or should be favored vs FPX, I just believe them winning isnt as unreasonable as people think
