this is a nothing burger every team plays on the same specs,
he's complaining because this is an fps game and the level of competition is hindered by the quality of equipment. Obviously the players full potential is not achievable on a pc that runs the game on 200 fps
thats all good and all, but that just shows how nats is goated, but surely we should be using new technology as it comes out. Like esports is supposed to be at the forefront of adapting better tech. rn its not that deep playing on 144hz relative to 240hz, but in the near future 540hz will probably become common, overtime its a bad precedent to set as we could fall behind
how much fps you guys play with?
I play with fluctuating 40-60fps in my potato which I got through lowering texture quality to 40% in game config files. Sometimes my games freeze, crash or big fps drops happens or game gets stuck for few moments. I contacted riot support they literally told me my pc too shit to play valorant. I peaked at bronze 3 with 10-20 rr away from being silver 1 in singapore/mumbai server. Used to get silver 3 and gold 1 as opponents sometimes. Could get gold if i grinded hard enought ig.
I stopped playing the game cause when I get gold or higher opponents I get like 1 tapped in head before seein em and I had to try hard every game with duelist. I also had comms turned off.
constant 60fps feels really good for me if im lucky enough to geddit.
I understand what you’re saying but there’s 2 views to it, Tenz is someone who’s just use to a higher standard his home setup has all the best and updated gear ( gpu, cpu etc ) so he’s hold riot a MULTI MILLION DOLLAR company to a higher standard and could affect anyone’s gameplay easily
but i understand what you’re saying he’s just not use to playing with lower tier quality, i’m not saying it’s a invalid or valid excuse
