can someone give me the pros of franchising?

cons:

Hard for new talent to get picked up
Hard for teams to qualify to it
If a team does qualify they get kicked after 1 year depending on where they place
some teams will only play a max of 12 games, not enough time to fully adapt to certain things
if you are a shitty team that got chosen when franchsing first started you will always be there
dying of tier 2 valorant, death of other tiers
promotes bad financial decisions

rocket league actually has a super open format (which has its own problems holy shit there is no consistency) but they still have car skins for like 30+ of the biggest orgs in the scene so it’s def still doable

it’s in a bit of a slump rn, they just changed TOs and the format this year was shit (i say was bc like valorant the season is over except for worlds)

hopefully next year will be better 🙏

PROS : More Money for Teams, Less games for the majority of the better teams ( no burn out ), In my opion its more competitive then how it was in prior to 2023 dude to the top players coming onto tier 1 teams, theres a few more but

Biggest are MORE MONEY and Competitive integrity
