Last year it was based on regions not placements which is why you didn't see more than 2 teams from the same region in one group (except for the group of death).
FPX looks really bad rn. EDG is looking to get back into tokyo form. TE and BLG look decent. however none of this really matters minus FPX looking bad until they actually play on international stage
FPX look bad, but not in a bad way. They really just look like they're trolling their games. They've already proven they're a contender on the big stage this year so that's what I'm basing my predictions off of, personally.
Like I said, there's a big difference in implication.
"SEN is worse than FPX" implies FPX is a bad team but SEN is even worse than they are.
"FPX is better than SEN" implies FPX are a better team than SEN are even with how good SEN have looked.
Although i love sen, i can’t deny that they are in a slump rn. If they can somehow make it out of group 2-0, I will detonate my house, i will blow the whole thing up
Ohh
Nah bro last year was hectic cause Fnatic kept winning so the seeding is scuffed
CN 2023 champs team were in seed 2,3,4
In 1st seed there was two EMEA teams ( Fnatic and Liquid)
Giants who won LCQ were 3rd seed and Navi that finished runner up in that same LCQ were 4th seed
illogical take
This years seeding is different than last year's
The seeding will have 1 of each seed (1,2,3,4)
Last year had unequal representation, this year is equal
Won't happen.
