noone here is telling him to fix his temporary issue with a permanent solution, noone here should be massaging him to harrass him, everyone here should be saying that what he did is unacceptable

also was probably getting death threats
third iirc akane was also feeling a ton of pressure from her agency and for her own future
fourth the circumstances are so so so different akane’s actions were taken out of context by online fans and she was somewhat framed for smth she didn’t do, psion literally is grooming minors with full knowledge of his actions
maybe if you actually paid attention to the plot you’d know this is a terrible example

people who try to get closer sexually to minors deserve to be exposed so that 1. they stop 2. other minors don’t fall into their trap
you said yourself that he did wrong. if you want him to stop, he needs to be exposed.
protecting him from hate is not going to work because unfortunately predators don’t learn this way. maybe you haven’t interacted with enough bad people but some people just don’t gaf. they’ll apologize online, they’ll say they learned, but then 2 days later you’ll see them sexting a minor again
it’s like a cheating girlfriend that promises she won’t cheat again. or a coke addict who swears he won’t do drugs again
some people need more than just a slap on the wrist, otherwise they think it’s ok to keep doing what they do, that’s why there are repeat offenders.
