2024 champs

could anyone explain to me how the champ format works? mostly interested in the NA scene; who is guaranteed a slot at champions and based off champion points, do any of the playoff runs matter? i know that sen and 100t have more champ points than any other team other than lev, who just rose up the brackets with their dominant split, but i was wondering whether there are any teams that are guaranteed a spot at champs regardless of their playoff run
