Anyone know why Brazil struggles to make a good team besides LOUD? Is there a lack of tier 2 talent? I just don’t understand why Mibr and furia recycle shit washed players like Xand/liazzi instead of giving new players a chance (I guess that’s what palla and rich are).

I’m not making this post to dunk on Brazil I’m just genuinely curious

There is ZAP as well.

But nobody want to put IGLs in franchise, they only want to put the duelists 🥶

there are a lot of reasons why and recycling mid players is one of them, but every br team had visa issues, so nobody expected them to start well this split. FURIA defeating 100T was not expected. all in all, NA teams are favored; Americas is built for them

im pretty sure someone from the Brazil scene said that there is an outrageous amount of nepotism (even compared to other regions). my brain is saying saadhak but idk who said it tbh but it was a player/ former player

Although I agree with your take partially, you can't actually expect this MIBR to be instantly good when 2 of their players just got to NA

NA teams have the issue of recycling washed players too (see NRG for example) the difference is you have more teams so sometimes random T2 mixed teams work out (23 EG) and your T2 teams can also scrim with VCT teams, making your teams evolve much more faster

nao é só por reciclar player antigo, e sim por só ter 1 saadhak
só ver o raafao (c pa o melhor igl br) tomando diff pra the7 e nao conseguindo parar um jogo de ranked no vcb

There are good talents in brazil but there is a lack of good igls / structures to help transform them into good players internationally.
Also these midseason moves were influenced by player availability, the best tier 2 Brazilian players wouldve required a decent buy out because ascension is so close.

  • Brazillian Tier 2 scene is on scraps and cant properly develop because the best teams and players get pulled to Los Angeles. The ones who remain can no longer pratice with the best of their region. At the same time, NA teams can practice with their own best teams PLUS the best teams from South America, which furthers widens the gap.

  • Severe lack of IGLs. There is not a single IGL in Brazil that comes even remotely close to Saadhak.

  • Brazillian orgs cant compete to keep their players due to a weak currency. Everytime Brazillian players stand out, they get a bag from a foreign org. Example: Sacy, Pancada and Aspas

  • VISA problems constantly getting in the way of practice. Every single time a Brazillian player enters or leaves USA, be it for offseason, going to internationals or any other reason, they have to renew their visas.

  • Also another one I don't see people talking about : Lack of good coaching staff. The absolute best coach to have ever been in a BR team is Frod, who isnt even brazillian.

Basically, franchise system activelly fucks SA teams, and this issues only tends to get worse over time.
