After the total disrespect that Lakia got from DRX before, it’s just so delightful to see him lift a title before DRX could.
I remember DRX acquired him not to boost their roster, but only so that he won’t be acquired by opposing teams. True enough, they benched him throughout the season, playing only 1 map if I’m not mistaken. DRX being a dogshit team now is well deserved.

DRX are not dogshit, they're comfortably the 3rd best Pacific team right now. They literally had to face PRX Stage 1(PRX were insane) and GEN.G(Shanghai Champions)

T1 fluked their way into Shanghai by beating GEN.G, it is what it is

GEN.G should be better than DRX. I think PRX are gonna be better than DRX too

DRX parted ways with Stax but in return they've got probably the best ever DRX firepower wise

RRQ and T1 making their moves is cool, but I don't think they'd overtake DRX off the bat

I'm not really that high on Talon tbh, DRX should be way better

Why do people keep spreading misinformation? DRX never bought Lakia out. Back then, Lakia's contract with Nuturn ended and he contacted Vision Strikers to join them. (Source)

Even in the recent Homegrown documentary, Lakia said it was his decision, although he regrets it and thinks its the wrong decision now

I didn’t mention buyout. What people are upset for is that Lakia’s prime was wasted that year just because DRX acquired him even if they didn’t have any intention of giving him playtime. This is why it is understood that they only acquired him so that no other org can sign him. Anyway, DRX doesn’t matter now, they’ll probably be relegated to Ascension after this season.
