- 1st match: TH has a sub, makes sense they lost the first series to G2.
- 2nd match: TH choked 11-2 on map 2 while having won map 1, choked match.
- 3rd match: TH obliterated G2

pressure not used to the stakes of the matches which caused them to not play how they normally play unlike geng or heretics who already had or gained the skills necessary in the tournament. they will be back with the added experience
G2/the guard aren't rookies they've been on the stage before. hell, they literally played in a tournament just last year for ascension to be able to play in tier 1 which is way more pressure than this tourney

Icy is the only player you can use the "no experience" excuse on and that's valid. But he wasn't their win nor loss condition. The games they lost were complete obliterations where icy getting a 30k wouldn't have changed the outcome and the games they won were off the backs of leaf valyn and JonahP and their coaching staff.
none of them have ever played on a international stage facing elimination in a bo5 they showed previously they are capable of beating heretics if you think heretics are truly just that much better than g2 and think the score line shows the level the teams are at you are delusional.
the narrative behind g2 is much weaker than TH. G2 on paper should of won because of the diff in age and experiance. G2 got beat by a more exciting and better team
