I think it's also regional. Based on my experience, there is a decent chance you'll get into a comp game with teammates giving 0 comms in KR and JP server.

because they start off the game with a "era a po weon" after they get ran down on their site, and then proceed to not talk for the entire game, or just say stupid shit like "me mata corriendo weon" after getting ferrari-peeked because they were on the most obvious on-angle possible. that's how the fuck I know

I give it 5 rounds, ill comm during agent select and fully comm first 5 rounds, if nobody pipes up ill comm enemy locations but otherwise just keep quiet and play my own game while trying to keep general rhythm with the team.

I just stop caring. If my team dont care I don't. Can't win a game supposed to be played w teamwork alone bymyself. Not even fun. If we comm and lose thats cool , at least we tried. But no comm and losing is just annoying.I'll comm the first 2 rounds fully and if no one is saying anything I just stop and play like how they do

asc? or dia? plat and below comm doesnt matter i argue they are even harmful you should mute everyone, pick reyna and bait them, gold plat is hell and you want to get out of it quick

Its weird cause like plat and lower comm.But mid plat to asc no comms and immo2+ they start to comm more. Tbf u really need comms when u are asc and up.

I have never understood people's issues with "comming", I think having a pre-round plan is important but I rarely need my teammates to tell enemy positions. that aside, 90% of people playing ranked do neither so it hardly matters, just like your teammates aren't comming the enemy team isn't comming either. where is the issue?

Well as u go higher in ranks u need to work w ur teammates to do plays. U can't just go and fight people higher in the ranks,if u watch streamers or pro play u will see how much people comm. Why do u think they do it in pro play?cause comming gives u great info and helps u make better decisions and plans individually and as a team. U will not win games without comms unless ur smurfing. also 90% of players in the game don't understand the game enough to play together. But in higher ranks it is expected to have comms.

rarely have the issue past like ascendant 2+. most people are comming constantly and you have 2-3 teamates with a mic almost every game. On the rare cases you don't you either have a blowout win because your teamate is smurfing or you really don't stand a chance. don't understand how people can spend $500+ on pixels and $1000+ on computers to "not have" a fucking $15 mic

Always a french guy in my lobbies who locks reyna peeks into 3 people first on defense and dies.

Then proceeds to say "I throw, u guys are so noob", mutes himself and types our locations to the enemy team and take spike every round and afks in spawn.

The mentality that helped me to deal with this is just stop caring about your rank, and just start focusing on yourself in game. If people comm and play with you its a huge bonus, but don't expect it until you're at least ascendant for example, if your team loses 2 players instantly, and its now a 3v5, instead of thinking 'my teamates are making me lose rr and theres nothing I can do, so I'm not gonna try this round/game', think 'ok its a 3v5, we probably aren't gonna win this round, but let me try and play tactically to see if I can make it close'.

this will only work up to a certain point btw, in my experience once you hit ascendant its harder to climb consistently if you don't focus on playing with your team, but if you want to brute force this methodology you can probably get to low immortal

Exactly this.U can get to immortal by yourself but after that u need comms to make plays with your team cause thats exactly what the opponent is doing.

i did the exact same thing as you. Instead of playing to win or rank up, I play to improve myself. I reached Ascendant 3 96/100 from Plat2-Dia1 in just 2 weeks(no cap). Just one more win and I'll finally touch immo. I started thinking about getting immortal rank then started losing because my mental changed. I started blaming my teammates and get stressed lmao.

BTW i got that tip from Yay(before he became y0y) and I watched Scream's aimlabs vid on youtube.
