Stewie flopped in tier 2 valorant but now won a major in CS2? Lmaoooo 😭😭 the skill gap is so huge, valorant pros are on another level
Considering the only tier 1 CS player who came to Valorant was Ethan and the guy won a Champs I think you're a little bit retarded.
Every other CS pro who came to Valorant was washed in CS. Stewie included is washed, he was subbing for Hooxi, a guy who doesn't even have to go even on KD and the team wins because NiKo ans M0nesy are that damn good.
Tldr, with NiKo, Hunter and M0nesy's performance this tournament even SkRossi could have won a trophy.
it is not a major Tournament, it is just a T1 tournament. The order of importance of T1 CS tournaments CS Majors 1/2 per year followed by Katowice/Cologne/Blast World Finals and after that ESL Pro League/Blast Spring/Fall Finals/Other IEM Events like Dallas and after that smaller tournaments like Betboom/Blast Spring/fall Groups.
I really don't understand why people compare players from different games, but you can be sure that if any top CS
pro switched to Valorant today, within a year they would leave all the best Valorant players in the dust. Even CS
"noob" Yay was out-aiming and outperforming everyone using the low-skill agent Chamber (only using his teleport ability). The skill gap is so vast, I don't know how people can't see that
Nitro had his job done in CS and he was not hungry to be the top of the game like Valorant. Stewie was more content creator than pro valorant player and he was in his prime like 5-6 years ago. He left CS cause he also felt that it's not him anymore. Those names are not even top 50 in best CS players category. Nobody will switch Valorant who's doing good in CS, cause they know their own potential
Mechanically it's not a question, cs has the higher skill ceiling, but as an overall esport it's very much debatable. As many pros have said it's much harder to be dominant in valorant than cs and that's because there are so many more variables in Val which makes the game much harder to master on a strategic level.
Although I see the angle you are coming from, a lot of cs sore executes look very and I mean very similar and understandably so as there are far less variables in the game. Although there are some basic util combos in valorant that are proven to be very effective, no valo game looks the same and that shows that pros have to be far more creative and make more on the fly decision making to be effective with their util.
Maybe it is because there are 100 different utility in valorant so it's more unlikely they will do the same? But entering the site is almost same for a team that usually plays the map. Flash, Jett smoke dash, Kayo knife maybe, they all doing same thing if they are entering site.
Also this has nothing to do with skill gap
