I don't think you understand the point of trigger discipline, it's a gamble, just like spraying like a madman when you're blind. (btw if he just kept his crosshair still he may have gotten more, but anyway) yes if Rise cleared him he gets nothing but if they didn't, he gets 2-3. That's the ENTIRE point of playing trigger discipline. It's always a gamble. I agree people are exaggerating how bad this clip is, but regardless.
Ignore them, they're idiots. I play in SEA. Yes, silver/gold has smurfs. Stop whining. Every region has smurfs. Having played in SEA and EU, both regions are roughly the same. EU Gold I felt was a bit more aim-reliant than SEA gold. Pretty much it. Our silver/golds are NOT better EU/NA. Just patently untrue.
No wonder your name fits so well. Straight braindead gold player post. What b0i did is 100% the correct play to make there.
ok
1.) rewatch it, noone was going to clear him. There were only 2 people left in A main, one was droning and the other one was far away. the killjoy was going to close door, skye was going to follow Derrek's drone towards left gen and I assume shanks was going to play dice,
2.) he is spraying at nothing. the first blind and came and he was blinded again before he regained vision, so he was essentially spraying at nothing. instead, sitting in the corner and just hiding gave a higher chance of him getting multi frags. i see people do this in iron all the time lmfao, this kid has the mental and thinking of a iron
3.)same as my point 1, not a single person was looking at him. the skye flash by neptune flashed near top gen, which could have been hell or anywhere else on site which is where people would expect, not close right
Anyways, why would an astra ever be in that position? her job is to put stars and assist her teammates, not sit in a corner and get frags
Bro when he's blind, how would Boi know whether he is gonna get cleared or not?
Secondly, he sprayed coz he didn't know how many were in site. Secondly, he knows that the Sova is droning but since he is blind he wouldn't know how many are on site already.
His position is wrong coz Astra stars are very useful for retakes and he should not be sitting in the corner to farm for kills.
And your point 1 is not valid at all coz when you're flashed you don't know if you are going to get cleared. So spraying for damage is not wrong at all. If he wasn't flashed then he could have held his trigger discipline but that wasn't the case.
which exactly leads to the point
if you're blind, then theres no point spraying. he was blinded before he even saw anyone so he should just sit in the corner and stay disciplined. you see so many people in radiant play their trigger discipline (example was TL vs G2 on ascent aswell I think, l1nk didn't shoot)
and what you said about astra's position was just a paradox?
True, my last statement on his position may be contradictory to the statement, but I was just trying to defend Boi on what he did in that situation.
I have seen people get flashed and sometimes people do intend to spray to get some kills. Haven't you seen some players do some insane sprays while they're blind and manage to get 2 or 3 kills? That is what Boi was trying to do in that situation.
no way you tell me to rewatch it and then make these points. here let me explain how your points are wrong easy enough for your pea brain to understand. Also, idk if that iron comment is towards me but if it was then ig getting top 3000 before leaving for college is because of my iron thinking.
IT DOESN'T MATTER IF RISE WAS GONNA CLEAR HIM OR NOT. HE DOESN'T KNOW THAT and as I said before, "Anticipates that they are gonna clear him because the bird from skye tells Rise that there is a player that got flashed in the vicinity. " The first flash comes in which lands nowhere near the top of gen like you claimed it did, but instead right outside of the a-main entrance. Put it on 0.5x speed and you have to be blind to think that landed near top gen. The first blind is typically used to push people off angles and in rise's case, it pushed ethan off his angle from heaven.
For your second point, his thought process is probably "oh I got flashed, they are gonna try and rush in to clear me. I'm gonna spray and strafe around because I am this close to the entrance, I'm bound to get a kill if they rush me." Him sitting in the corner does nothing for the team as by the time the second blind was over, the drone would've been not blind and checked him which leads to either poised or supamen to kill him
From b0i's point of view, he CAN'T SEE THROUGH WALLS LIKE WE CAN(SHOCKER I KNOW), so there is no way for him to know if they are gonna clear him or not. 100t typically plays the A site for retake instead of trying to fight off a 5 man rush and losing it everytime.
To answer your question about why an astra would ever be in that position. The past five rounds, 100t conditioned rise into thinking that no one plays close, especially not boi as he usually chills heaven while ethan plays tree. He most likely chose to play there to catch them off guard and get some eco frags. personally the mistake is not where he was but why he chose that round to play there. Rise is on an eco and if he dies without getting a kill, they give away a rifle and the round becomes loseable.
I just spent time to reply to this idiot but oh well.
Alright I watched it in 0.25 speed
1.) the skye flash literally blinded Ethan on heaven so idk what you're talking about. The SECOND flash landed above in the middle of site, but theres no way because there can be a guy back gen or behind dice.
2.) Derrek's drone wasn't even facing him, it was going towards tree/gen
As for your response to my question, you must be on some high drugs. b0i literally played that same position the round before
Why do people who can't even watch the game properly try and criticize players playing at the highest level.
The FIRST flash is from RISE, it blinds ethan and makes him get off his heaven angle, the SECOND flash comes in from ETHAN HIMSELF in the form of a quick pop flash to try and stall rise. THIS ENDS UP BLINDING BOI causing him to have to resort to spraying.
Idk how many times I have to repeat myself to get this through your thick head but BOI DOESN'T KNOW IF THEY ARE GOING TO HARD CLEAR HIM OR NOT. he can't see through walls like we, the spectators, can so the logical thing to do would be to take the chance and spray as they try and rush onto site.
You act like your thinking is the 100% correct play in hindsight but I guarantee you that if you were in that situation you wouldn't have done shit let alone get at least a kill. I genuinely wanna watch your gameplay so I can pick apart every little thing you do.
