Probably nothing for the org, the players will almost certainly be poached though
ascension teams are only in the league for 2 years and then have to requalify in tier 2
what does it take to be a partner team then? also what happened to acend why are they in t2
riot was looking at teams they thought would be able to keep a sustainable and healthy professional scene based off things like their commitment to teams they have in other esports
guard situation is the new meta. even after winning ascension some orgs won't be able to fulfill the conditions and some other org would get franchised and they'll pick up the winning lineup. same for the teams that face demotion.
imagine you win champs on the same year as relegation, the outrage would be crazy. I agree with Conceit though. Only the org would suffer, the players would most likely get picked up very quickly.
honestly demotion is there in t2 especially so there isnt just an influx of constantly increasing NA valorant slots that way it wont be like 11 NA teams and 6 SA teams (if any even get through ascension)
