also teams scrim year round(less in offseason especially due to meta potentially changing and unknown factors), so i dont get what you are trying to imply with that. 100t also said they scrimmed daily, with many scrims in one day. I believe i heard 8 before
and if you arent able to play your best the whole year, you arent ready for tier 1 level. look at any professional sports player, grinding every single day. but if you dont have the winners mentality, what are you doing here. mibr in a video talked about how even though the match against c9 wouldnt change the fact that they wont make playoffs, they said every match counts in their goal to champs and even winning champs.

idk what you mean by the team was done in december. although boostio wasnt signed, everyone knew boostio was scrimming with 100t alr but it wasnt public.

its needed sure but again, they still wanted their ass to go to Shanghai lmfao. It's not like they'll die of exhaustion or something if they keep playing, these players WANT to keep playing and they always strive to win. Even if they don't make it far in playoffs or even Shanghai, the fact that they went farther than getting grouped would've been a gift for them. There's even a chance that they would've won the whole thing again if they escaped the group, we're treating this like they're dying irl.
fnc were ahead of the meta (kept the same comps on almost every map for the entire year) and they gapped everyone so hard from start to near finish that no one could catch up (until the end ofc). sen was ahead of the meta for sure, but teams in general are much better than last year so the gap closed much quicker.
