exactly, I bet some pros dont support lgbtq however they are silent about it out of respect for the western culture of valorant. But if someone leaks their dms about their non support theyd get cancelled immediately like braveaf. He wasnt pushing idelogies into the public and had his own private opinion it was dogs that leaked it and made him get canclled.
Yes, and I just found his explanation on twitter and it was reasonable af, they did him dirty for sure

LOL it was not "nothing wrong"
He supported the aggressor, the one who kills, murders, and rapes people of the girl's nation he was talking with.
Of course, it made her react.
No wonder your people do not understand it, as you are far from the values of normal people who understand that it's not OK to attack another country just because you think you can.
And this is what an idiotic "out of politics" position can do to a person. Maybe Braveaf is a nice guy, IDK, but his views on things were a result of the culture around him which made him think that really evil things are normal. That's why you gotta educate yourself and think critically, learn things around you and history especially. It will help you stay out of trouble, especially in the modern world.
This "out of politics" position is made to fool and manipulate people. While politics is everywhere you want it or not, and it's something that influences your life.
Be clever and support good things, respect other nations, and don't be scared to speak about evil things. This is how you fight on the good side, not the other one. Evil only rises in silence and ignorance.
Actually not.
US international policies and Russia's are very different.
Many things the US did were not good at all, but the reason for it was to protect the good values of our world. The way they did things, was not that good though. They made tons of mistakes.
But when Russian aggression happened in multiple places for many decades, it was not for the good things at all. It was always to make things worse for people and get political control, creating destabilization.
Also, they support a lot of destabilization movements in many countries just to make things worse for people and gain a macropolitical advantage.
Pure evil.
It's a complicated topic that is full of propaganda built on the hate of one nation for another which is horrible.
IDK the US stands on it. But I assume they stand against Hamas who works together with Iran and Russia building an axis of evil in a modern world.
Btw, Ukraine supports the two-state solution and condemns the attacks on Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
His "crime" was repeating a states propaganda while discussing it with a girl in a private text chat. Yes the issue was a young adult repeated something the media was telling him right after (24th Feb) the war started.
That was the weakest kind of "support" you can think of and for any normal and less horrific topic the conversation would have continued until both understood each others position and BraveAF would have been made aware that his media was pushing an untrue agenda and that his comment was incredibly insensitive.
It really wasnt hard to convince brave either since he made an apology post saying how he wasnt well informed right after the shit hit the fan and that he didnt want the war to continue.
The point isnt that hes an angel or anything, the whole thing was def fucked up to say to someone whos country currently getting invaded, but you shouldnt blow this out of proportion and make it into something it quite simply wasnt.
I agree with you on some points.
That's why I wrote that it's important to learn things and understand what you stand for if you are for the good.
I even feel a little bad for those russian kids who are raised and taught in that horrible culture. But in a modern world, there are plenty of ways to learn things and only a person himself is responsible for the values he cherishes. Especially if you travel, see the world, can talk to people from other countries and cultures.
