What will be their comps on raze maps? Victor raze is insane but considering maps like lotus where a sentinel is also needed, who will play the sentinel role?
honestly this question is interesting af because their avoidance of Raze even on a map like Sunset actual proof that they're hiding shit. I wanna say Demon1's gonna opt into the Cypher once Victor's Raze come out but he's way more experienced on Chamber that's been somewhat decent on some maps + a Gekko inclusion by crashies or smth could make it work.
i get what you mean but that's just brain dead lmfao. Sunset is objectively better with a Raze over a Jett, Split is objectively better with a Raze over a Jett (both can work too, but Raze is prioritized first), Lotus is objectively better with a Raze over a Jett, Bind is objectively better with a Raze over a Jett, there's another Raze meta happening like there's just no way Chet thinks he can make whatever he's got going on work for other maps when Victor, a star Raze player, is on the team + the fact that Demon1 is VERY capable of flexing.
Demon1 is going to get off Jett eventually but since he didn't do so on Sunset its just too weird to not think that they're hiding shit.
nah i dont believe that bc that would be the most brain dead monkey shit Chet would've ever done in his entire career. Demon1 isn't yay, he's literally better mechanically and was statistically the best vandal user last year by a margin with Alfajer, why the fuck would Chet make him buy the OP that much lol. There's nothing you can do with an OP that the vandal can't already do, but that doesn't go both ways for a reason.
He's an insane OPer but like I said before, being the best vandal user > being the best OPer like there's just shit you can't do with just an OP. Like 90% of every clip Demon1 had last year was with the vandal bro, Chet is wasting genuine talent if he thinks making the best player itw a site holding robot is for the best. Potter with EG last year even proved to everyone how useless the OP is by both avoiding it on their own team and hard punishing OP users on the enemy team simultaneously like kangkang, aspas, leaf, something, etc.
The most coordinated teams WILL punish the OP nowadays. You can get a few picks with it on some occasional rounds and whatnot but making it a strict priority is easily punishable if the enemy knows what's going on. You get nothing but gaps doing this shit.
No man trust Chet, I promise you that he is cooking. It's a motherfuckin demon1, our glorious King can't do no wrong with different roles or guns. He is the undisputed current GOAT of Valorant for a reason. He can master anything Valorant and will prove to those haters and doubters. Just relax, even four of other players we got are no push overs either, they are a round closer as well. Last year Fns and chet probably didn't get along each other because they both have two different philosophies and obviously EU fraud that sabotaged us but if we wants to win this year we got to trust the coach, and our players. 🏆🏆🏆🙏
I still think NRG are gonna win lmfao but Demon1 just by looking at his history on UT4 simply peaks higher with guns that enable him to move while shooting. The only explanation on why Chet wants him OPing a lot now is because it's more reliable for the team and whatnot finding those first picks which isn't even a good excuse considering how talented the rest of NRG are. I get that you trust NRG but there's a reason why Demon1 was able to consistently top frag on a role he's wasn't even remotely familiar with last year. Like the OP itself is objectively holding him back and that's not even a joke. He's not trolling when he says that he hates OPing, his ass came from an arena shooter lol.
Maybe Chet knows this and are baiting SEN to hard anti strat against Demon1's OP though, that would be crazy.
Wells perhaps Chet will make switch up in some matches from using op to vandal... So far he has been looking pretty good with op getting picks and making impact kills. Also atm it's not Chet just forcing him on op every times, it's mostly on defender sides, which tells me that they are not even playing at their full powers but rather experimenting stuffs. I totally get your point that he was insane with vandal last year but I like him using op as well, which personally I don't think will hold him back but instead expand his skill sets individually and make difference on the team as well.
