CN Kickoff Group C: Bilibili Gaming vs Wolves Esports

BLG Brief Information: Having established themselves as one of China's best teams coming in and out of Champions LA, BLG was expected to perform at high levels in the China Evolution off season tournament, which they did not. BLG failed to finish top 4 in all three acts and lost many series to less experienced and new teams such as TEC. They have since replaced rin with B3ar who will replace Biank’s duties as main caller/IGL.

WOL Brief Information: A newly formed roster of 8, Wolves Esports have expanded into Valorant by picking up a large amount of prospecting talents as well as established players such as aluba, yuicaw, pl1xx, and Spring among others.

BLG Players to Watch: Biank and B3ar are my players to watch during this series, as Biank is no longer on IGL duty and might be able to play a bit more freely than he did in Champs and CN Evo. B3ar’s IGLing skill will also be available for evaluation in this match.

WOL Players to Watch: For me, it’s really fair game for any of them. They have all proved to be great talents with high potential and it’ll be interesting to see how they work together as a team.

Prediction: On paper I think Wolves have the stronger players but BLG are clear favorites to win. I think Wolves will do well to take at least one map. 2-1 BLG win.

In CN EVO ACT3, Knight replaced Biank to be the new IGL, but the result is so terrible. BLG got 11-12th by the 0-2 loss with TEC. Now B3Ar come to BLG from Shenzhen NTER, he will be the key player, his IGL skill will determine the win or loss.
Biank is no longer IGL, so he can focus on his battle. his KDA is TOP1 in China(CN EVO and Ascension stats) and he is called "DUTY GOD" in China. He is BLG's heart.
As Wolves, Spring and yuicaw maybe can destory BLG's defense. spring's ACS and ADR is TOP1(REALLY) although his team lost, he still keeps his condition. Spring is an excellent duelist.
yu can get many first kills, his perfomance can also lead WOL to the win.
it will be an interesting match.

Amazing insight. I'm not big on statistics so I'm glad you touched up on that. I didn't know about the Knight being IGL information either.

It's going to be a very entertaining match and tbh I think Wolves could win against BLG in the rematch if not in this series.

Lowkey spring might cook now because his teammate pretty good. Alulba use to be 8lua from ME and from what I've seen I always wanted him on a better team. Yuicaw been insane on nonduelist roles. Coldfish good support too. This team is pretty well balanced ngl. 2 1 series and either team can take it. Reason why i'm not too hot on BLG is they look super shaky. Maybe they figure it out after the break.

Too many Teams and good players built up their skills in different teams before. NTER, ME, WBG，TOE，KZ-- their r like west point academy that most of the VCT CN players comes from these clubs.

VCT CN is a good chance to re-group those good players with experience high potential. WOL took the chance.

I think CN and APAC should communicate and compete more, at least during offseason. Audiences like u may get to know them better which helps marketing and propaganda and in my perspective, I still hold the interest to watch the rookies play around Laz dep and sugar0 when they still can.

Feel sry we had to cancel that tournament between CN, Japanese and Korean teams. This geng thing casts a shadow on these opportunities.
