it's sad to see the same teams qualify for masters/champs.
It's almose like im watchin a movie again nd again.
Optic/XSET - got dismantled/TGRD - only made it to one masters, and lost 2 games immediately to get kicked out ---> NRG - literally Optic core but ok/EG - the real surprise and outlier here
LOUD --> LOUD (The only one that stayed the same)
LEV/KRU ---> KRU had a really great run, Lev was really close but there can only be one slot for LCQ
FPX/TL/Fnatic ---> Navi - literally FPX core but ok/Giants - Fnatic won them a slot/TL/Fnatic/FUT- Fnatic won them a slot
Because that the same team since 2021 :
PRX --> PRX
Secret --> Bren
Talon --> X10/Xerxia
DRX --> Vision Striker
Zeta --> Zeta
Gen.G --> More or less O2S
RRQ --> Mix BOOM/ONIC
T1 --> New
Global --> New
DFM --> New (But now CR whish is historically one of the 2 best JP team)
Bleed --> Kinda reshuffle but still same org
So it's easier to predict than in EU where they are a lot of change every year.
Yup the main shaky point is the transition between 2022 and 2023 that make region predictable or unpredictable, in 2024 even if they have a huge turnover in 2024 for Gen, it's still the same structure, so we already know in 2023 that the structure wasnt a bad structure and if they try to upgrade the roster we can trust.
It's a little bit the hammer theory, if you have a hammer and change the sleeve it's still the same hammer, and if you change the stone the next year it's still the same hammer even if they are nothing in common with the hammer you had at the beggening of the year, if you keep the roster but change the structure it's still the same continuity so we are able to predict, if next year you keep the structure but change big part of the roster it's still somewhat predictable.
