LEG looked so weak tactically last year doing the same predictable, bad things

Its not fair to say johnqt is a great igl when he has only played tier 2 teams up until now

About sacy and pancada, they have only found success with one team while crashies and victor have found success with multiple iterations of teams. They know better than sacy and pancada what it takes to win

Homie Johnqt literally beat PRX, DRX and TL to win AfreecaVL. If you consider them to be Tier 2 I dont know what that makes NRG. A good IGL is way more important than star players, and having 2 'secondary' callers to lead the team sounds like a recipe for disaster especially in a team with a structured play style like NRG.

Crashies and Marved are not great primary callers, that was obvious from SEN's LCQ run. You can talk all you want about Marved being set up to fail, but if you can't win with 2 VCT champs, and 2 of the best aimers in NA, then its on him as an IGL

I don't think they're even being that biased tbh. Only going off lan placement isn't the best way to judge igl capabilities. But FNS seems to be optimistic about this NRG team with crashies as igl, so that's good enough for me to also be optimistic. As for kingg/johnqt; need to see more from them next season and see them against in-season international competition. Personally, whether it's NRG, SEN or LEV, I'm not ready to call any of these teams world beaters yet but these rosters do look strong.

Well, like i said, FNS, one of the best igls in the world and someone who actually played with crashies for a long time, believes they can make it work. So until they show up to VCT and look bad, gonna put pause on my doubt. Might take some time too, so if they're still bad as split 1 progresses after madrid, then i'll go doomer.

Well, yes, he's incentivized to give hot takes as a streamer, that's true. But that doesn't mean everything he's saying is completely off base. Also, he said it looked like sentinels was currently performing as a top 3 team in the world but maintaining that form would be difficult. Pretty reasonable if you ask me. Lets just see how things play out. I hope NRG can find synergy and do well. As an NA fan, it would be nice to have more than one team to cheer for (that looks like they can perform at a top level and potentially win an international lan).

he also said marved good igl. but if u see sen comms, Marved comms a lot. also from sideshow and bren, they heard teams comms during matches. they also said on platchat marved comms so little, most of the ideas was coming from team. so saying marved can be good igl and it's translating in matches is lot difficult
