TenZ Omen

Have been seeing a lot of criticisms after one series. While I agree that he is probably better on flash initiators, i do think with a bit of refinement his omen,viper can be as good. People were complaining about his fundamental thinking and ability usage but I saw nothing wrong with his omen other than some strategic mistakes.

• He needs to get 2 smokes in pistol rounds cause it's really strong if you can stall them as long as possible and play around your smokes. With a ghost, you will get 1 kill if you are lucky. But that's not his decision only, teams and coaches plan their buys beforehand.
• TPs to get elevation advantage is good but he should be a bit careful next time. Even when zellsis played omen on sunset he was tping on B market box and A site box a lot, so it's just the team strategy ig.
• His flash intuitions are good but he needs to realize that the omen flash is lot worse than what it used to be. Don't be so sure that it hit but this is easier said than done cz you need to take advantage of crucial util.

People were overwhelmingly criticizing his aggressive plays but aggressive plays are nothing new with omen. That's how you are supposed to play omen on defense. Play stage 1 with your one ways until they push you back. If you don't do that they are gonna just util dump you on site and you won't be able to hold it. That's omen 101. Keep in mind this was PRX. They caught some of the best players at their roles with their pants down just cz how they play. People like to over criticize tenz so ig this is nothing new.

TenZ on Viper would go hard, I remember him being one of the OG pre-buff viper mains back in beta

His omen on Haven wasn't that bad, he had a few nice lurk timings on the attack side

TenZ wants to be second entry I doubt he's going to be playing Viper a role that's more lurky and finding timings thats Zelsis's role being the one to lurk around and find cheeky timings. People do like to criticize TenZ when he played really well on the last map of Haven, Sunset needs to be cleaned up a tad bit, people in this valorant scene have no IQ when it comes to how Valorant has evolved old SEN we could say TenZ go kill he'll give us 25 and old SEN played a CSGO type of Valo and poorly adapted to the meta while Tenz can play that secondary controller and support Zekken, the roles on the team look really good as I think TenZ will be one of the best Flex/Awp players in the world, as his Kayo has always been very good his breach has def improved as even in Comp playing with Zekken and Randoms his comms are very good he knows how to properly setup team mates and I saw a video from Sideshow basically saying for TenZ being a flex he has a very small agent pool to where now He's played Yoru, Harbor, Omen, Breach and Kayo at very efficent rates hovering that low 200 ACS across his offseason matches.

hes just a worse version of jawgemo on omen but with time it can change, he just needs to be less proactive and honestly just do what the team is doing and buy pistol full util and get a proper gun instead of buying a guardian (i saw him buying the guardian on round 3 after losing pistol which isnt bad but its better to just full save and get a vandal/phantom)

yes I agree with you. Omen is probably the second most aggressive agent after primary duelist in ur comp. And it is because of his tp. He showed promising signs. Lets hope he improves throughout.

i kinda wish i could see tenz on skye tbh. ik that would change things up with sacy and stuff but if he's already getting reps on two main flashers he should get some games in with arguably the best one in the game right now
