Unbeknownst to BcJ, half of the matches he would play in the VCT in 2023 would be spent in Brazil. Shortly after the perfect end to their year, Evil Geniuses released their entire reserve roster sans Kyle "ScrewFace" Jensen, leaving BcJ among the many free agents ahead of 2024.
